| Terms and conditions of Shell Helix Reenergise My Ride (Phase 2) contest |
| 1. | Contest period is from 1st of November 2007 to 30th of November 2007, both dates inclusive (`Contest Period’). |
| 2. | In order to participate, contestants are required to complete the below: |
| 1. View the 8 video clips and then rank them in order of preference. After that, contestant will need to create a creative signature for the word ‘Reenergise My Ride’ |
| 2. The ranking that matches the most popular ranking and the most creative signature wins |
| 3. Full name as shown on IC |
| 4. IC number |
| 5. Address |
| 6. House telephone number and/or mobile phone number |
| 3. | This Contest is open to Malaysians, 18 years old and above who hold a valid Malaysian driving license, except for the following category of persons who are NOT eligible (`Eligible Participants’): |
| a. Permanent and/or contract employees of Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd (6087-M) (`SMTSB’) (including its subsidiaries and related companies) and their immediate family members (i.e. spouses, children, parents, brothers and sisters) |
| b. SMTSB’s advertising agencies, promotions agencies, printing company and event management agencies, their permanent/contract employees and immediate family members (as defined above). |
| c. SMTSB’s Retailers, site staff, dealers of Shell Helix and their immediate family members. |
| 4. | The Chosen Participant will be notified via phone and/or post within one month after the Contest Period. |
| 5. | The Chosen Participant/s will be sent a notification letter and acknowledgement form via post |
| 6. | Should there be no reply from the Chosen Participant /s within one week from the date the letter has been sent, SMTSB. will attempt to contact the Chosen Participant /s via telephone. Two attempts to call the Chosen Participant /s via the telephone number provided in the entry shall be made. |
| 7. | Where such attempts are unsuccessful, SMTSB reserves the right to select the next eligible participant/s as the Chosen Participant /s. |
| 8. | Prizes for the winners include 3 x car enhancement packages worth RM5, 000.00 each at a car enhancement workshop selected by SMTSB and 10 x One-year supply of Shell Helix Lubricants* each (* One-year supply of Shell Helix Lubricants is equivalent of 3 x 4L packs of Shell Helix Ultra). |
| 9. | 9The winner/s will be disqualified if: - |
| a. Unable to redeem the Reenergise My Ride car enhancement package on the dates offered. |

| 10. | The car enhancement prizes do not include pocket expenses nor transportation to/from the car enhancement workshop. |
| 11. | For any other dispute, SMTSB retains the sole discretion in coming to a decision. |
| 12. | In the event of unavailability of the prize/s or any of its component/s, SMTSB reserves the right to substitute the prize/s or any of its components thereof with any other item of similar value at any time without prior notice. |
| 13. | SMTSB’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entertained. |
| 14. | The prizes are not redeemable for cash and not transferable. |
| 15. | Each contestant is only entitled to win one prize throughout the contest period regardless of the number of entries and the number of cars owned by the contestant. |
| 16. | SMTSB reserves the right at its absolute discretion to vary, delete or add to any of these terms and conditions without prior notice. |
| 17. | These Terms and Conditions, as may be amended from time to time pursuant to Clause 11 above, shall prevail over any provisions or representations contained in any other promotional material advertising this Promotion. |
| 18. | In the event where there is any inconsistency(ies), conflict(s), ambiguity(ies) or discrepancy(ies) between English and Bahasa Malaysia version of these terms and conditions, the English version of these terms and conditions shall prevail. |
| 19. | By submitting an entry, the Eligible Participant is deemed to have agreed to (i) participating in this Contest; (ii) be bound by the Terms and Conditions herein, including the decisions of SMTSB concerning this Contest and its results; and (iii) SMTSB and its agencies using his/her names and/or photographs as SMTSB or its agencies deems fit for purposes of publicity, advertising and/or trade without further notice or compensation. |
| 20. | SMTSB reserves the right to cancel, terminate or suspend this Contest with or without any prior notice. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination or suspension by SMTSB of this Contest shall not entitle the Eligible Participant to any claim or compensation against SMTSB for any and all losses or damage suffered or incurred by the Eligible Participant/potential winner/winner as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension. |
| 21. | In no event will SMTSB be liable for any loss or damages including without limitations, loss of income, profits or goodwill, direct or indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive or special damages of any party including third parties howsoever arising whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise, in connection with this Contest, even if SMTSB has been advised of the possibility of such damages in advance, and all such damages are expressly excluded. |
